LED all-in-one machine mentioned the highest rate, 47% of enterprises are promoting LED all-in-one machine. Secondly, the mention rate of micro-pitch (P≤1.0) and MLED (Mini/Micro LED) is 38% and 34%, respectively. In terms of packaging and other technologies, COB is far higher than other technical terms, with 50% of the share far ahead of the 31% MIP. In addition, quantum dots, once a fire in the TV industry, have also begun to rise in the LED display market and become a publicity buzzword.

Exhibition product spacing analysis

The mainstream LED screen of this exhibition is basically P1.2. According to data from RUNTO, in 2023, in China's small-pitch LED display market, P1.4-1.1 pitch segment products accounted for 29.8%, occupying the first place in scale.

 

Terminal demand for P≤1.0 products continued to grow, and the market size in 2023 increased by nearly 1 percentage point compared with the previous year, accounting for 9.7%. More than 10 companies exhibited products below P1.0 at the exhibition, including Liad, Zhouming Technology, Lianjian Optoelectronics, Xida Electronics, Chenxian Optoelectronics, Vision Jue Guangxu, Haijia Cailiang, Gaoco Optoelectronics, Mairui Optoelectronics, Dahua and so on. The product spacing is mainly P0.6/0.7/0.9.

 

Typical highlights are Riad's P0.3 and P0.6 Micro LED transparent screens, Xida Electronics' P0.3 glass-based spliced Micro LED color displays, and a 165-inch 8K Ultra HD home theater with P0.4 flip COB display.

 

Exhibit product packaging and technical analysis

Packaging technology as a key part of the industry chain, more than half of the mainstream LED display companies have a layout on COB and MIP. In this exhibition, Liad, Zhou Ming Technology, Lampu video, Lianjian Optoelectronics, Haijia Cailiang, Altai and other dual-technology line products on display.

 

In addition to controlling costs through the progress of packaging technology, virtual pixel technology can greatly reduce the amount of LED chips and reduce the cost of LED display, but the cost of red chips is relatively high, and in order to improve the display products with higher color purity and better color consistency, so the company launched quantum dot-related products, three companies launched related products at this exhibition. Riad quantum dot COB all-in-one machine, Altai QCOB products, and P0.9 quantum dot series products displayed in the future product area of Lopp.

 

According to RUNTO LED industry chain information, Taiwanese manufacturer Inolutron will debut the industry's first 187-inch quantum dot color conversion AM-Micro LED splicing display module at the Touch Taiwan Exhibition held on the 24th.

Exhibition product scenario analysis

LED display from the special market to the general and home market. According to the survey information of RUNTO Technology, in 2023, the demand for video conference scenes ranked first, accounting for 42.6%, and the demand for traditional command and monitoring scenes ranked third, accounting for 12.7%.

 

From the perspective of demand growth, the demand for information release after the conference scene is gradually increasing, with an average growth of more than 5 percentage points per quarter, and the proportion has exceeded video conferencing since the third quarter of 2023, accounting for more than half in the fourth quarter of 2023, ranking second throughout the year, accounting for 41.3%.

 

Commercial display scenarios accounted for 3.4% of the market in 2023. Zhou Ming Technology, Abison, SONY, Lampu video and other enterprises have exhibited commercial display application solutions, is expected in 2024, the demand for commercial display application scenarios will show rapid growth.

 

From the industry point of view, the demand for smart classrooms in the education market is also increasing, and in the peak season of the market in the third quarter of 2023, the shipping area of the education market is mainly used in colleges and vocational education classrooms. At the exhibition, two companies, Lehman Optoelectronics and Alto Electronics, exhibited relevant solutions.

 

At the same time, there are also companies exhibiting home-related product solutions, including Lehman Photoelectric's PM driven glass-based Micro LED ultra HD home giant curtain wall, Xida Electronics 120-inch 4K ultra HD direct display TV products.

 

In addition to the above application solutions, there are also products and solutions on display in the rental market, XR virtual shooting, and movie screens.
